News conference to discuss AYP results

Wednesday July 23, 2008 - General

The Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) results for CCSD will be announced at a news conference tomorrow (Thurs.) at 2 p.m.

School Board meets Thursday @ 4 p.m.

Monday July 21, 2008 - General

The CCSD Board of School Trustees will hold a regular meeting Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Greer Education Center, 2832 E. Flamingo. The public is invited.

Jesse Scott ES to begin classes Sept. 15

Monday July 21, 2008 - General

School will begin three weeks later than previously expected for students who will attend Jesse D. Scott Elem. School this fall. Located at 5700 N. Bruce St. in North Las Vegas, Scott ES will open its doors to students for the first time on September 15.

School Board withdraws 2008 bond question

Friday July 18, 2008 - General

The CCSD Board of School Trustees voted July 18 to withdraw the 2008 bond question from the November ballot. Based on staff recommendations, the board also approved extending the 1998 bond to continue planned school construction and renovation for two more years and to prepare for a 2010 bond initiative.
